What are the benefits of being a GPA member?
GPA is a unique association of professionals. Nowhere else in Georgia can you find these personal connections to public health, acute perinatal care, Regional Perinatal Centers, ambulatory perinatal care and virtually every type of maternal or newborn service in Georgia.
GPA provides its members with a monthly newsletter highlighting Georgia happenings related to maternal and child health, linkages to other perinatal programs, news from GPA members, recent news and information about maternal health, reproductive health, child heath and more.
GPA hosts an annual conference in the fall which brings up to date scientific, clinical and technological information in an interactive and relaxed setting. Attendees have access to speakers, board members and an assortment of exhibitors in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages idea sharing and professional connections.
GPA members can apply for an educational award to assist them in sponsoring a community service event or taking a personal educational journey.
GPA has an executive staff office in Decatur that can respond quickly to any membership concerns. Staff can be contacted via email or phone call. Your concerns and ideas are very important to our growth. Thank you in advance for your input!
